Kenya's climate change advocates have claimed that climate change has helped Barrack Obama be reelected as the President of the US and have called upon him to give it the seriousness it deserves. The advocates said President Barack Obama's reelection had been uncertain until Hurricane Sandy in the East Coast. Many environmentalists directly or indirectly link Sandy to a warming planet.
