“zero 3” Smartphone Targets Kenyan Youth

Global mobile phone manufacturer, Infinix Mobility recently launched their latest smartphone, the Infinix Zero 3 smartphone, in the Kenyan market targeting the ballooning middle class tier of the Kenyan economy as well as the youth constituency.

Speaking at the launch event of the smartphone at a Nairobi hotel today, Infinix Kenya Country Manager Carter Tang said that the company is intent on tapping into the youthful and middle-income earning segments of the economy by offering devices that offer superior functionality at affordable rates.

“We intend to tap into both the youthful and middle-income earning segment of the economy with diversified devices that offer sophistication at extremely affordable rates,” he said.

He further added that the Kenyan market offers huge potential for growth and expansion of smartphones as a result of the country’s invigorated Internet infrastructure penetration.

“Kenya’s internet infrastructure expansion, coupled by the mobile telephony penetration, offers us a grand opportunity to expand our reach with affordable devices that deliver superior functionality,” he said.
The Infinix Zero 3 smartphone features a 20.7-megapixel-rear camera with 0.1s PDAF flash focus feature to give users a better opportunity to capture special moments. The camera also comes with an ability to capture video in Ultra High Definition and in Slow Motion. Front camera spots 5-magapixel with front LED flash providing superior images delivered through the front camera.

The 4G-enabled device also features a Real OCTA-64-bit 2.2 GHz CPU and 3GB RAM – ensuring that it delivers breathtaking speeds in functionality.

The Infinix Zero 3 phone also comes in a sleek design – spotting a 5.5 inch Full HD screen – with a 3030 mAh battery that ensures that users get to use their device at full functionality for longer than most smart devices. The ZERO3 also features long-lasting power with an energy density of up to 643WH/L.

The Infinix Zero 3 phone comes with 16 GB internal memory capability and supports micro card expansion memory for up to 128GB. The phone is also modeled on Infinix’s core values to offer dual-sim capability across all their devices offering clients convenience through convergence.
